PRIVACY & YOUR DATA
Privacy Policy
How we handle information when you visit Nectry or connect your tools.
Prepared September 9, 2026 · Draft, not yet effective
1. Who we are
Nectry Inc. (“Nectry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools for connecting AI assistants to business services, defining custom tools and workflows, and controlling what those tools can access and do. This policy describes information handled through our website and services.
If you use Nectry through an organization, that organization may manage your account, connections, permissions, and activity records. Its instructions and agreement with Nectry may govern our processing of its business data.
2. Information we handle
- Account and contact information: information you provide when creating an account, contacting us, or requesting a demonstration, such as your name, email address, and organization.
- Connected-service information: account identifiers, authorization tokens, and the content or records needed to perform the operations you authorize.
- Tool and workflow information: tool definitions, policies, requests, inputs, results, and activity associated with your use of Nectry.
- Technical information: service and security logs associated with operating and protecting the service.
Before publication: confirm the exact information collected in application logs, website analytics, cookies, and support systems.
3. Google services and permissions
Nectry currently connects to Gmail and Google Calendar. When you connect your Google account, Google asks you to authorize specific permissions. Nectry accesses Google Workspace data when you invoke a connected tool, to perform the operation you request. The data accessed depends on that tool, the permissions you grant, and applicable Nectry policies.
Before publication: match this disclosure to the production OAuth scopes and enabled operations. Confirm which Gmail features access message content, metadata, attachments, drafts, or sending, and which Google Calendar features read, create, update, or delete events. Only describe operations the app actually supports.
Nectry’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide the features you request, maintain connections to authorized services, execute tools and workflows, apply access policies, provide activity records, respond to support requests, and protect the service against misuse.
Google user data is used only for the appropriate, visible user-facing features you authorize and their permitted improvement. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
5. AI assistants and data sharing
You choose the AI assistant or model provider you use with Nectry. When you invoke a connected tool, its permitted results may be returned to your chosen assistant or provider to fulfill your request. Those results may contain Google Workspace data or information from other connected accounts. The provider’s handling of that information depends on its terms and your account settings. Review those terms and settings before using a connected tool.
We may use service providers to operate Nectry. They may process information for the functions they provide under applicable instructions and restrictions. Google user data is transferred only as permitted by Google’s Limited Use requirements: with consent to deliver permitted user-facing features, for security purposes, to comply with law, or in a business transfer with explicit prior user consent.
Before publication: confirm how Google Limited Use restrictions, including restrictions on generalized model training, are maintained when data is returned to user-selected AI providers. Confirm any additional infrastructure processors and their data handling.
6. Human access and security
Human access to Google user data is restricted to the circumstances permitted by Google’s Limited Use requirements, including your affirmative agreement to access specific data, necessary security investigations, legal obligations, or qualifying aggregated internal operations.
We maintain safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
Before publication: confirm implemented protections for authorization tokens, data in transit and at rest, staff access, and service-provider access.
7. Retention and deletion
Nectry processes Gmail and Google Calendar tool results to fulfill the requested tool call and does not retain the returned content after the call completes. This content is not retained in Nectry chats, logs, or databases. Your chosen AI assistant or provider may retain results it receives according to its own terms and settings.
To request deletion of data held by Nectry, email info@nectry.com. Identify the account and the data you want deleted; do not include passwords or authorization tokens. Requests concerning copies held independently by your chosen AI provider must also be directed to that provider.
Retention must be limited to the purposes described in this policy, applicable customer instructions, and legitimate legal or security requirements. Revoking a connection stops future authorized access; it does not by itself delete information already processed or held by Nectry or another provider.
Before publication: confirm retention periods for account information, authorization tokens, non-content activity logs, and their backups, as well as deletion request timing and any legal exceptions. These are separate from returned Google tool content, which Nectry does not retain.
8. Your choices
You can review and revoke Nectry’s Google account access through your Google Account’s third-party connections. You can also ask your organization’s administrator about its permissions and data-handling settings.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to applicable law and any requirements to verify your identity. For an organization-managed account, some requests may need to be directed to your organization.
Send privacy and deletion requests to info@nectry.com.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice where appropriate or required. If we propose a new use of Google user data, we will update the disclosures and obtain any required consent before starting that use.
