Details

The output column takes the chosen column’s type exactly, list of records and all, so this is the way to return a list a step already loaded (Load list column from API endpoint, Load list column from query) rather than rebuilding it: a formula cannot construct a list value, and From JSON string and From list query each make a fresh list of their own; a list with nothing in it at all is Empty list, not this. It declares an output column of its own name and type, so it can only add one: a mapping that has to fill a table’s columns (tableEquals) needs From formula or another ingredient that sets an existing column, since a required column this one does not name stays unfilled.
