From JSON string

Parse a JSON string into a list of records. The target column must have a list-of-records type.

Local scope

The parent slot binds these (look up the slot in the parent to see how):

  • $inputsTable – The input table
  • $mappingResult – A table that contains all mapped columns so far
  • $matchTable – An optional table that contains columns that we may be trying to set values for

Settings

Required

  • columnName : column of $matchTable or new (type filter: list type (optional or required))
    The list-of-records column to populate
    Set ty only when columnName names a new column (not in $matchTable).

  • json : formula (returns text; required, non-nullable)
    A formula that produces a JSON string to be parsed into records
    Scope: all columns of $inputsTable (reference as [ColumnName], e.g., [Name], [Price])

Optional

  • fields : ingredient slot of jsonFieldsIngredientsList (many)
    The ingredients that will be used to produce the JSON representation
