Table-Backed Input Panel

Concept

Presents a set of input and output data fields to the user, and the data fields are very customizable.

Outline Display: Presents a set of input and output data fields to the user based on columns from {{tab}}.
The data fields are defined by:
{{rowIngredients}}

Details

Like Data Fields, but the form fields are initialized from columns of a chosen table. This allows the form to reference table column types and values while still functioning as a non-persisting display/input surface.

Local scope

Names introduced within this component’s knobs:

  • tab – table chosen from the app’s schema (via tab knob)
  • formFieldsTable – virtual table holding this handler’s parameters

Settings

Required

  • tab : table
    The table to connect to

Optional

  • rowIngredients : ingredient slot of formIngredients(tab, formFieldsTable) (many)
    Descriptions for widgets or other ways of asking the user for information to construct a row in the table. Note that the order of the ingredients will be reflected in the order of the form and that there must be an ingredient to produce each column in the table. Key columns should use SequentialID.
