Concept

Presents a set of input and output data fields to the user, and the data fields are very customizable.

Details

Unlike Complex Form Entry, this concept is NOT backed by a database table and has no submit button. It purely presents input and output fields on the page without persisting anything. Use it for reactive UI elements that compute and display values, accept user input for other concepts to reference, or show information derived from formulas and queries.

Local scope

Names introduced within this component’s knobs:

  • NULL – empty table populated by ingredients
  • formFieldsTable – virtual table holding this handler’s parameters

  • rowIngredients : ingredient slot of formIngredients(NULL, formFieldsTable) (many)
    Descriptions for widgets or other ways of asking the user for information. Note that the order of the ingredients will be reflected in the order of the form.
